Not far from now
Mankind shall bow
Our mortal time at hand,

Whats in store
A third world war
And death shall rule the land.

Misery and dispair
Not well shall we fair
In payment for our past,

Men shall cry
And men shall die
In the hour which is our last.

Snow shall fall
Where none was at all
To warn of what's to come,

The ring of fire
Shall explode with ire
To show it has begun.

This was written after watching a documentary on Nostradamus... Its kind of out of character for me, but I like it anyway :) (Smile)

An ant can move a mountain [eventually]. So long as there are other ants to help. Just a few people like you can start to change the prophecy, if just a few take heed and pass on the message.

The poem? Beautifully written. More please!

Take care.

I like the way the stanzas are written. Feels like a sort of extended haiku.

I agree. The seemingly simple sound pattern reminds me of a haiku, only extended. Nice.
